FAQs

What is Massage Therapy?

Massage Therapy is defined as the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues (muscles, connective tissue, ligaments, tendons and joints) of the body in order to receive optimal health and wellness.  Massage Therapy is both an art and practice which works to act on multiple systems of the body including muscular, nervous and circulatory/cardiovascular systems.  By treating any physical dysfunction, one can achieve physical function that can be improved and maintained.  Massage Therapy also helps one to decrease stress, tension and anxiety by relaxing both body and mind.

What is your cancellation policy?

The MTTC therapists do their best to accommodate you with your preferred appointment times and dates.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, this facility requires 24 Hours’ Notice.

Failure to notify us in the allotted time frame will result in a full charge of the treatment time that you were scheduled for.  Please note, that regarding Covid-19 related cancellations, this charge will NOT apply.

Any No Show to a schedule appointment will require that the full charge of your missed appointment be PAID IN FULL PRIOR to your next scheduled appointment.

Please note that we are unable to issue a receipt for insurance purposes for missed appointments.

Do you help treat terminal or chronic illness?

The MTTC knows that there are numerous benefits on many levels to receiving regular massage therapy treatments, however, we do not claim to provide cures to any medical situation and that massage therapy exclusively should never replace the care or medical attention provided by you regular Physician’s care.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Yes, we accept MOST insurance companies which provide Massage Therapy benefits/coverage. Speak with your RMT for more information.
